This lighthearted blog is an outlet of fashion reflections written by Evie Nightingale. It is a portfolio and so, rather than to commercialise, it aims to theorise. Created by an aspiring fashion writer and current english literature student at KCL, posts consider fashion as a subsystem of society which is predisposed to political, economic and cultural shifts, and not something that exists unconditionally. Thus it aims to dwell on the precise future of fashion, with a particular interest in up-coming trends, based on observed social changes of the present and the mode of the past.
